Rename Recycle Bin The Recycle Bin desktop item lets you recover erased files. You double-click the icon to access this feature. You may wish to personalize this item by changing its name to a title of your choice.   Desktop Item Name To rename the Recycle Bin desktop item: Type a new name in the Desktop Item Name text box. Or, Click Default to return this setting to normal. Click Restart to restart Windows.
